The santamariatimes tells us the Northern Santa Barbara County Manufactured Homeowners Team (NSBCMHT), which promotes the welfare of MHC residents, is linked to the legislative action arm of the Golden State Manufactured-Home Owners League (GSMOL). This year’s legislative agenda includes AB1205, a measure that would provide mediation services to resolve disputes between homeowners and management, funded by a per-site fee. AB 692 provides grants and loans to residents whose homes need repair or accessibility features added. MHProNews has learned it is also funded by a fee imposed on manufactured home owners.
