Lippert Components, Inc., (LCI) a subsidiary of Drew Industries, Inc. of Elkhart County, Indiana is sponsoring an Out of the Darkness Walk Oct. 4, 2014 to help raise awareness of suicide and depression, and provide assistance to those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The son of a sales manager at Lippert took his life, and LCI has supported the family in their recovery and desire to help others, according to RVBusiness.com. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s (AFSP) Branch County (Mich.) walk will raise money for research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives.
