PressofAtlanticCity reports Circul Custom Builders received unanimous approval from the Land Use Board for a modular home sales center. “These are environmentally controlled construction, or EC2. We’ve sold three houses in the last month, and we don’t even have an office up yet,” developer Nicholas Garofolo stated. Circul Custom Building partner and architect William Tagland explained “We can design and build entry-level housing for people.” Garofolo plans a one-stop home shopping. Engineering, construction, financing, design, insurance and alternative energy options, including wind and solar power will be handled on-site. “Hopefully we’ll have the office up in November and we plan on having two models built by early spring and hopefully a third model next summer,” Garofolo said. Circul Custom Building plans similar modular home sales centers for Atlantic and Monmouth counties, NJ and in Ocean City, MD.
