MHProNews has learned from wabi.tv the 28th Maine Manufactured Housing Show was held the weekend of Jan. 29–Jan. 31 at the Augusta Civic Center with an expected turnout of 5,000 partaking of the goods and services of over 30 vendors. Many of them assert that business is returning following several tough years, especially among young families and retirees seeking to downsize.
Trish West, Sales Manager for Pine Tree Homes, noting the presence of other dealers, said, “We are all right here so it is easy for customers to compare us to other dealerships”
Bob Cole, of America’s Best Show, said in reference to MH consumers, “They want comfort, they want convenience, they certainly want energy efficiency and rather than try to streamline an old home, often times its easier to come here, make a choice of a home that will satisfy their needs.” ##
