According to digitaljournal.com, Clayton Home Center Consultant Doug “Sarge” Linebaugh assisted a fellow disabled veteran, Luis Alvarez, in purchasing a manufactured home. “Right away, I hit it off with Luis and Maria,” Linebaugh said. “We were able to connect on a personal level, since I am also a disabled veteran.” The relationship deepened when Luis asked Doug to attend a dedication ceremony of a flag pole in the Alvarez’ yard to honor Luis’ seven friends who died in Iraq. “They asked me to come in military uniform to raise the flag. It was an honor to be included in the Alvarez family’s ceremony,” Linebaugh told MHProNews. Clayton Homes is the largest producer of manufactured and modular homes in North America. ##
