The wbjournal reports a Northborough, Massachusetts company that provides lending services to buyers of manufactured homes is expanding its offices beyond New England into New York, Maryland and Delaware. Chris Schofield founded Priority Funding in 2003, and after originating approximately 3,500 loans, has decided he has maximized his potential in New England. He notes, as MHProNews has learned, U. S. Census data indicates there are over 200,000 manufactured homes in New York, and some 80,000 in Maryland and Delaware. “Our goal is to expand over the next five to 10 years into multiple states,” Schofield said. “We’d look anywhere we think there’s a need.”
