The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) informs MHProNews that based on statistics released by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the manufactured housing industry produced 6,780 homes in May, 2016, a 16.9 percent increase over the 5,798 homes produced in May, 2015.

Total HUD Code production for the year now totals 32,570 homes, 19.5 percent more than the 27,257 HUD Code homes produced for the comparable period of 2015. Furthermore, the top ten states for shipments continue in the same order, with Texas the number one state, followed by Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, California, Kentucky, Tennessee and Oklahoma. ##
