The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform tells MHProNews that industry production of HUD Code homes continued to grow during Feb. 2015. According to statistics from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 4,803 homes were produced in Feb. 2015, a 10.1 percent increase over the 4,361 HUD Code homes manufactured a year ago Feb.

Cumulative industry production for the year now totals 9,722 homes, a 10.9 percent increase over the 8,766 homes produced by this time last year.

Texas continues to lead all the other states in shipments with a total of 42,613 homes shipped since the industry rebound in Aug. 2011. Louisiana is second with 15,253 homes, followed by Florida with 11,201 homes. North Carolina is next with 8,676 HUD Code homes, followed by Alabama totaling 8,586 homes. Mississippi, Kentucky, California, Tennessee and Oklahoma round out the top ten. ##
