Effective in December, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Jason Boehlert will leave the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI).
Boehlert is scheduled to become the new Executive Director of the National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA) and National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED). He is the latest in a series of departures and new faces at MHI.
MHI said in their release that “Boehlert moves on after more than four years at the helm of MHI’s government affairs department.” They listed a series of the activities he was involved in, including but not limited to, extending energy tax credits on manufactured homes, Dodd-Frank/CFPB and related regulatory issues and GSE reform.
MHI has begun searching for a full-time replacement, but emphasized that they will be well represented by, “its internal and external lobbying team of:
-
Dick Jennison, President and CEO
-
Lois Starkey, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs
-
Rick Robinson, Vice President and General Counsel, Government Affairs
-
Porterfield, Lowenthal, Fettig & Sears which serves as MHI’s external lobbying firm“
MHProNews wishes Boehlert and the association well during their respective transitions and future activities. ##
