Updating a story MHProNews posted Dec. 18, 2013, regarding a Texas town attempting to standardize ordinances for manufactured housing and recreational vehicles, the San Angelo City Council continues to work on draft legislation regarding size, spacing and buffering standards. As gosanangelo.com reports, the council tabled the measure because of a previous tie vote in a recent meeting. As MHProNews published earlier, the current ordinance requires communities be at least three acres in size and contain no more than 30 percent RVs, zoning which has not been enforced. San Angelo is in southwest Texas near the Permian Basin energy exploration drilling. ##
