The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) says production of manufactured housing dropped slightly March 2013 over March 2012 by 4.3 percent, from 4,671 homes last year to 4,467 this past March. As MHProNews reported May 8, 2012, March of 2012 saw MH shipments rise 16.4 percent over March 2011. Industry production for 2013 totals 12,860 homes for the first quarter, slightly more than the 12,799 produced during the same period last year.
