Adding to a story MHProNews posted April 4, 2014 regarding the 5.9 percent increase of shipment of HUD Code homes in Feb., 2014 over Feb. 2013, the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) reports shipments of single-section homes remained flat while multi-section home shipments increased 11.8 percent. Total floors shipped in Feb. 2014 rose to 6,706, 7.9 percent over the Feb. 2013 totals. The seasonally-adjusted annual shipment rate (SAAR) fell 2.5 percent from Jan. 2014. MHProNews has learned 123 plants reported production in Feb. 2014 from 46 active corporations, the same numbers as the previous month. ##
