In the manufactured housing market, nearly all stocks declined, with the MHCV going down 2.15%. Skyline was the exception and its stock went up 3.08%.

USA Today  tells MHProNews  the Dow ended a bit in the red Tuesday after a wild, 400-point swing, indicating just how volatile the stock market has been in early 2015.

The Dow Jones industrial average finished down 0.2% — about 27 points — after being up about 281 points and down about 120 at one point. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index lost 0.3% — a little more than 5 points — after being up as much as 30 points. The NASDAQ composite index dropped 0.1%.

Marketwatch advises that the market’s dramatic reversal from triple-digit gains to big losses reflects the lack of conviction and confidence among investors as crude oil’s unabated slide stoked fears of global deflation.
