NewsSentinel reports that Dexter Axel plans to ad 60 new jobs by the start of 2012. The northeastern Indiana firm anticipates an average hourly wage of $18.50 for these new positions. The jobs will include machining, welding, heat treating components for axles. Dexter said the picked Albion IN because it is close to another plant. Dexter has five facilities in the U.S. supplies axles, frames and related components in the utility trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy-duty and manufactured-housing markets.
