Arguably the Premier Land-Lease Community Annual Event is the International Networking Roundtable. This year’s event, the 19th annual one, will be held September 15 – 17, 2010, in Phoenix, AZ. Some 200 of the top LLC owner/operators attend, along with key people from the worlds of finance and manufacturing. Last year’s event in Chicago was a big hit, and this year’s event in sunny Phoenix promises to be the same. Details on all the speaker’s and topics will be coming out in a matter of days, but expect some 20 or so timely topics covered by panels and presenters!
GFA has graciously asked me to be one of those presenters in a break out session on September 16th. Suggested topics (not yet finalized at this time) for me would be the new world of online publishing or on a communities/homes/marketing topic.
Besides a busy consulting practice and his own publishing endeavors, you know that George Allen does magic tricks that attract and delight. While I enjoy his feats of slight of hand and legerdemain, I lack the nimbleness for that sort of magical skills. Thinking that my publishing experience online may be a lightly attended yawn, my next best option to attract a willing audience of community owner/operators is to share some insights on ‘marketing magic.’ If you want to get your LLC’s phones ringing, doors swinging and cash registers singing, this could be it for you. The turn around is underway. I don’t think any seasoned Industry observer would say that we are out of the woods; there are still plenty of struggles ahead. We still have to work on financing, regulatory, image and a host of issues. But you can see the signs of improvement. Sitting at my desk, I see more and more ‘good news’ in and about the industry. Plug into some of the top minds in the Industry in the sales, marketing and management arenas. 24,680 unique visitors in May! At the current pace we could grow that by 20% or more this month!
