In reviewing the Jim Clayton video interview we'll Feature in May, one of the many pearls was his contrasting the doom and gloom of the not-too-distant past, to the more upbeat mood of the present.
A comment from another party shared recently ties into the opposite of that perspective. Namely, those in our ranks who are routinely saying the "sky is falling."
Maybe so for some, or perhaps even for those who seek to profit by saying the "sky is falling."
Yet meanwhile, others are growing!
Since a number of operations are taking this or that dark cloud and transforming it into an opportunity, doesn't that mean you, I and others can too?
Correct Answer? You bet.
Among his wide ranging comments about the industry and more, Jim Clayton spoke about his enthusiasm for Zig Ziglar.
First, stop and think about that, please! Here is a highly successful man – a billionaire renaissance man – and Jim mentions his admiration for Zig Ziglar.
If Mr. Clayton thought Ziglar's work valuable enough to mention, do you think you, your team and we all might find value there as well?
As many of you know, we've featured Zig on our home page as a monthly featured article for years. Before he died, Zig's editor very thoughtfully passed along dozens of his pithy pensées.

Speaking of big names, Donald Trump is one of those that pops up in regards to manufactured housing from time to time. Some laugh it off, saying, things like 'Look, the man does high-end commercial, hotels, condos, golf courses and the like! Trump in manufactured housing? Never!'
Others believe differently, as in, 'DJT's already invested.'
We will bring you a report in the near term, which should make you and the MH Industry at large think.
