I have to agree, this quote ‘fits’ what MH is and has been going through for years. Yes, I agree with those who tell me we have often been ‘our own worst enemy.’ We sadly still see largely avoidable struggles internal to the industry that harm those involved and us all.
Thus there are times that we as a committed, pro-industry trade publisher MUST point out those struggles and divisions. That internal strife must be called out, or there is no reason to believe they will ever end.
That internal bickering has been, and continues to be, far too costly!

But beyond the internal missteps, ego clashes and inside MH politics, there is an array of good news that must be shared.

I’ll close today on this note. We had another client of ours text this week, their good news. Closely paraphrasing part of their message: Tony, you were right. People watch these videos and read these stories for month after month. Then, when they show up, they are ready to buy.
He then told me that among the boost in sales was another one just approved, a pending sale for a lower 6 figure home, and this is in a land-lease, one that hasn’t sold that kind of priced-point home in a long, long time. They are ordering more new homes, and they are often higher priced ones, because they are SELLING those homes.
The path ahead is ever so clear. Both logic and experience prove that we are on the right road towards advancing MH. We must, we must tell our stories, often and as well as we can. We must tell them to the media, public officials and the home buying public.
