IBISWorld Report Draws MH Industry Attention

The calls, emails and commentary on the recent IBISWorld report continues to keep us even busier than normal in covering MH Industry events.

We have a new article by the MHMSM.com team that focuses on the strong number of calls, emails, articles and posted comments that have come into us since this story broke a couple of weeks ago.  You will see commentary from a wide range of Industry personalities in the story, and we suggest it is worth your time to read it.  Paul Bradley, Thayer Long (MHI), Danny Ghorbani (MHARR), Doug Gorman, Otis Orsburn, Bob Stovall, Ken Rishel, Derek Thompson, Dustin Youngdahl and others have all shared their comments.

FYI – If you have not already signed up for premium content, you are missing a treat.  Sign up is free, please go to:

The timing of this IBISWorld story is very close to the start of the MHAO’s 2011 Great Southwest Home Show in Tulsa OK, to the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Associations’ (PMHA) HOMExpo 2011 in York PA, and to MHI’s own annual Congress in Las Vegas.  Where ever you are in the U.S., you are not too far from one or more of these events!  While they all fall in the same week, the MHMSM.com team will be on hand at two out of the three, and we strongly encourage your attendance and support for these venues.

Just one more thing.  I’ve just finished a call with another association leader.  These are challenging times, in our industry, you don’t need to be told that, I’m sure.  That said, it is always during times of challenge that new opportunities are born.  There are those who tell us they may be working harder, but they are also earning more.  There has been optimism at the Shows and we expect to see more people  ready to dig in and make good things happen.  We hope to bring you the news and insights that will allow you, our faithful readers, to tap into the opportunities that will pay off for your customers, you and our Industry today and tomorrow.

Please check the previous blog post for links to opportunities to ‘Dominate your Local Market‘ at upcoming Shows, to shake hands and meet the MHMSM.com team.  Thanks for your support!# #
