We will do two topics today, the first one defense (protecting your business and profits), the second one about scoring more points (sales).
Protecting our financing options is smart defense. It is also a great way to make sure you can score more points (sales).
Ladies, please take your bows.
Mary Gaiski – who was featured at this exclusive interview linked here – her state association leads the nation in the number of Congressman signed on in support of HR 1779.
Oklahoma's entire Congressional delegation – 100% – are on board with the bill, which Deanna Fields and her members have made happen. Jennifer Hall from MS and her members can say the same, 100% signed up. Ken Anderson in Arizona and his members – no doubt with Susan Brenton and hers too – are the second largest delegation signed up in support of the HR 1779 bill.
In fact, guys, out of the top 10 states with the most co-sponsors for HR 1779, only 2 have male execs. Lady's take your bows! Gents and all others, please redouble your efforts.
Where does your state stand on this list? Per GovTrack, here are the numbers, and the 93 signed up is an impressive number.

If your congressional representative is not yet on board, please contact their office. CR/Shutdown/Debt Ceiling theater is about to predictably end. Don't make excuses for your self and accept none from others. Be engaged, as Mark Bowersox said, it is now or never!
Your Congressional member may be very happy to do something that is bi-partisan, and this is the most bi-partisan bill moving that is dealing with Dodd-Frank according to some sources.
This one will be brief. What keeps us from having more manufactured housing sales? Answer, an improved image!
The facts about how grand our homes are truly on our side, but we must decide to no longer be “housing's best kept secret.” The manufactured housing phenomenon needs to be widely shared!
Please show your staff and peer the Manufactured Home Living News website. Then, have them share it with others. Momentum is going here too, but you can accelerate a process with simple steps that will benefit your firm and the industry.
Tyler Craddock in VA deserves a big atta boy, because he took up this 3 Point Plan gauntlet download linked below and shared it widely with his members, so they could share it with their residents and others. Thanks, Tyler, for your quiet leadership in this matter.
Fellow pros, this is Sooooooooooooooo simple!
Share this link with your:
-
MH Residents (those who already own)
-
Via posts on housing discussion websites (check out Craigslist's discussion forum, but there are Topix and many others).
-
Email to your friends and family, then ask them to share it too. Let them know that this is how tough manufactured homes really are!
-
Then share a link to the 2 Million Dollar Manufactured Home. There are MDs, attorneys, company owners and stars like Betsey Russell, Pam Anderson, rocker Bo Diddly and actor Matthew McConaughey who all live in manufactured homes.
-
Make sure you attend the 2014 Louisville Show and see the powerful presentation on how to use this online resource to sell more homes in YOUR market!
Combine Both Offense and Defense. Please see the download here below, and follow the 3 Point Plan for protecting and growing MH financing and the MH housing market share.
While the plan mentions 'resident' engagement, this same plan could be used with anyone that has a list of MH home owners as their customers.
So please do these things and encourage others to do the same. As the weeks go on, you will be glad you did. ##
