Manufactured Housing – Roaring Ahead!

What does it take to get manufactured housing to advance? What follows are 4 quick looks at very different aspects of how manufactured housing is already 'Roaring Ahead' and how we can continue to fuel the two year rise of new home shipments.

Imagine if the traffic at your manufactured home sales center or community increased 400% in a single month. The wise guys might smirk and say, well, it depends on the quality and how much traffic you had in the first place. They'd be correct. 400% of zero is zero. Louisville 2014 – Roaring ahead!

Within days of our posting the Corporate Press Release for the Louisville Manufactured Housing Show, and the 'temporary' banner ads for the show, thousands have already hit that announcement page!

Dennis Hill tells me that the interest in Louisville 2014 and exhibit space is moving ahead rapidly. This bodes well for the show, and for attendees and exhibitors alike. But it is also a good sign that the industry is ready to continue its advance upward.

Sources close to Fairmont have given us some keen insights on their leadership in agreeing to place a multi-sectional home at the RV MH Hall of Fame. We are told the model home will only be about 8" above grade, a very 'residential' style set as opposed to a more 'mobile home' looking installation that might otherwise be 3' off the ground. Fairmont's model home will be landscaped, decorated and ought to be a great example of modern manufactured housing.

The home should be in place in late August or early September. Once in, we plan to bring you a report.
