Two distinct topics today. First, a brief reminder that next week is the MHI Summer Meeting, held in Washington, DC. The dates are July 13-July 15th. Sir Francis Bacon popularized the phrase, “Knowledge is Power.” In the information age, this is more true than ever before. Information precedes knowledge. In the biblical sense, knowledge implied intimacy. A grasp or an ‘intimacy’ with information is what yields true knowledge. Knowledge is power in the marketplace. Knowledge is the power to advance beyond your peers and competitors.
