It is traditional at this time of year to ask oneself – or in a company “retreat,” to ask the team – what should we do differently in the new year?
Ask: “What can I as a professional or we as a team do differently to improve our results in 2015?”
Before you run to an easy answer, remember this. Easy often doesn’t pay well. We aren’t talking about day dreams. We are asking: what practical steps within your control – or that you can be a part of taking – would result in solid progress?
MH Veterans point the way…

Not 1 Image Campaign, but possibly 4 in 2015?!
Fact. There are no less than 4 groups or leaders actively exploring the long awaited image campaign for MH in 2015.
We’ll have a snapshot as a Featured Article in our rapidly approaching January 2015 issue.
We’ve been promised a guest column during January by an MH veteran who was keenly involved in earlier image campaign efforts. His report won’t likely make the January issue as a Featured Article, so we plan to share it on Industry Voices. Once his article comes in, you’ll get it too. Please look for that early in the new year.

An early wrap…
We’ve had a number of nice messages about Sandra Lane and her writing. Please be sure to check out the robust Daily Business News (DBN) news stories this veteran writer is bring to us…well,…daily!
We plan to have share details about her career to share in the January issue, on our home page, as a featured article. Make reading Sandra part of your routine, and you’ll see what this actual writer’s quote means:
“Wow! Your DBN contains everything we need to know in one place!!
I really like the format. Easy to read and easy to see what’s being offered.”
Gee, I like that…’wow.’ When you do things right, you end up with ‘wow!’
January 2015 lies ahead. On our side of the fence, we’ve finished yet another year of serious growth. If MH were growing at the same pace as our readership and page views are, the MH industry would be hovering at record levels instead of near historic lows.
Working together, we can make a difference in 2015. But MH pros can’t keep doing the same things essentially the same way and expect an improved result.
Let the last word be about Christmas and Changing the World. For for billions, Christmas is a 12 day event. Apart from a sound moral frame work, society collapses. Oh, for a true Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit, every day of the year. ##
