“We are at war with an unseen enemy” or similar terminology has been used by Democrats like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and by Republican President Donald J. Trump to describe the spreading COVID19 pandemic.
Former U.S. Ambassador to Japan Bill Hagerty said on “The Jeff Poor Show” on Huntsville, AL radio WVNN on 4.3.2020 that decision making by the Chinese government was criminal. Hagerty is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee. Right-of-center Breitbart reported about his radio interview, citing this part of his comments.
“China was behind every tree and under every rock,” former Ambassador Hagerty said. “You think about their Belt and Road Initiative. You think about the things they are trying to accomplish there. They’re basically and use their economic might to make very strategic positioning all along critical trade routes. And they have built a military powerhouse out there while many previous administrations have watched. President Trump has taken a very different approach to this, and it was my great honor to serve as his representative in Japan as we began to build the bulkhead there and really watch an important strategy with the Japanese to push back and make the United States the partner of choice in that region.”
Senator Tom Cotton (AR-R) raised the warning earlier this year that what doesn’t appear to have come from that Wuhan wet market, citing the respected British medical journal The Lancet in his argument.
Dr. Anthony “Tony” Fauci, a top infectious disease expert who is often part of the daily briefings by the White House Coronavirus Task Force, was reported by left-of-center Politico “It’s mind-boggling that China’s wet markets are still operating…” Based upon prior medical records, that statement should be seriously taken whether or not those wet markets are the source of this particular pandemic or not.
French President Emanuel Macron was reported in left-of-center Foreign Policy as echoing the line that we are “at war” in this pandemic.
Plenty of media outlets on both sides of the left-right divide have reported how Chinese, Russian and Iranian leaders have tried to blame-shift the COVID19 outbreak to the U.S., saying that the virus was planted in Wuhan by the American military.
Taiwan – the Republic of China – Vice President Chen Chien-jen. Chen is an epidemiologist who was Taiwan’s health minister during the 2002-2003 SARS outbreak. Chen said Taiwan warned the World Health Organization (WHO) in December that human-to-human transmission was possible.
British researchers claimed recently that such an early warning could have reduced the impact of the virus by up to 95 percent.
The Epoch Times, an arguably anti-communist Chinese publication with ties in eastern Asia and the U.S., has dubbed COVID19 the “CCP Virus,” meaning the Chinese Communist Party Virus.
Pulling the various facts and timeline threads together reveals a sobering picture of disinformation from early on. In the face of claims of deliberate deception, per numerous sources such as those noted, the U.S. response and that of other nations was slowed.
That is what led to this wide state of economic shutdown, which will likely be debated after the fact.
What has not been explicitly said – perhaps to avoid panic as well as for other reasons noted herein – is that China de facto launched a biological war against the United States and the nations of the world. That “war” is not only biological, it is a propaganda, financial, and economic campaign. Those elements have serious geopolitical and military implications too.
China’s own people were the first casualties of that war. Those early losses, which some say may be 10 times or more larger than what Chinese officials claims, could have initially been human error in China. But regardless if it was an intentional release of the CCP Virus or a combination of human error and deliberate deception – either way the coverup that followed fueled the current state of this global pandemic.
It isn’t an irrelevant question if COVID19 originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a top level 4 bio-testing facility often associated with biological warfare. Biosafety Level 4 – or BSL4 labs – are the highest level of biocontainment, says Nature. But in a narrow sense the outcome of this outbreak that the earth is undergoing is the same. Rephrased, those who want to brush aside responsibility and time lines by saying that just the inquiry is a ‘conspiracy theory’ are mistaken or misguided. Either way, the results are what they are and that our profession and all others are dealing with.
By accident or design, early and honest failure to warn the world about the contagion led to a slower response in the U.S. and around the world. Doctors Deborah Birx and Tony Fauci have both made recent statements to that effect. The details can be investigated, but the impacts are increasingly apparent.

There have been years of warnings by various writers and speakers against allowing America to move its production overseas – especially to a nation run by literal communists.
Gordon Chang, author and China expert has – like Pillsbury and others – been warning about that communist regime’s threat to Asian and even American political and economic freedom.
Steve Bannon, former Trump White House strategist, said in the interview below that “If you are going to go through hell, let’s go through it as fast as possible.” The video below is a week old, the others are more recent.
China has not hidden its Belt and Road initiative from the freedom loving West. China’s influence at the World Health Organization (WHO) is apparent. American and other Western investors moved money into China, built up their economy, which allowed their communist regime to build up their military. Troops, tanks, missiles, ships, planes, nuclear, cyber, propaganda – and yes – biological weapons, strategic and tactical have been tested and deployed for years. Intellectual property theft, currency manipulation, and an array of allegations during Democratic and Republican administrations have occurred. There is talk during campaign season about those matters, but seemingly little has been done until the Trump Administration began imposing tariffs on China as the start of what many called a trade war.
There have been scores of voices – including Donald Trump, before he ran for office – that have sounded the alarm for decades. They have gone largely unheeded, as the current crisis reveals.
While investors are trying to figure out if the markets have hit bottom of not, China and its de facto allies within the United States and elsewhere have been positioning themselves for a truly feudalistic society. If they are successful, there will be a literal return to an epoch of lords and serfs.
Only this time, unlike medieval or even 20th century fascist models of control, if the Chinese communist political-economic model prevails, the spy and population control mechanisms made possible by smart phones, internet, social media, CCTV cameras and other tracking technologies created a controlled society where re-acquiring freedom would be far more difficult to undo. Fear of what is occurring in the mainland explains why protests in Hong Kong in 2019 were so important. Those Hong Kong protestors warned the West of what they feared themselves. Given their proximity to the problem, they understand it well.
Propaganda – Disinformation as a Weapon
Disinformation – according to those who study the matter – is a key weapon in this gambit. Sometimes smiling or at other times somber faces manipulatively express what they want others to believe. By repeating a lie or half-truth over and over again, a degree of brainwashing occurs. This isn’t theory, it is reality that has been tested here in the U.S. and among other larger powers around the world for decades. It isn’t necessary that everyone is brainwashed. Those who manipulate only need sufficient numbers to believe to give cover for those advancing their respective agendas.
Challenges on the Left and Right
Billionaires like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Zuckerberg and others will be found to have such close ties to China and/or the WHO – via investments, interlocking interests, and/or foundations/nonprofits – that are acting contrary to the causes and interests you may espouse. They have often have backed Democrats, but that doesn’t mean that some in the GOP aren’t involved too. By accident or design, numbers of well placed Americans have climbed in bed with China’s program. Don’t be surprised in May, June or thereafter to learn that they’ve or their surrogates have been buying stocks and other assets on the cheap. There are already reports in Barron’s and elsewhere the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul made well timed moves in Amazon, Microsoft and other stocks before brick and mortar retailers were pushed to close to curb COVID19.
Hundreds of thousands of prior millionaires have already fallen from that august listing in just the last few weeks, per the ubiquitous Drudge Report. That noted, some well-placed rich have and will often get richer, as the Pelosi and some senators on both sides of the aisle reflects. As MHProNews has noted before, this could be the greatest transfer of wealth scheme by a relatively few insiders who are taking advantage of this tragedy. It could be the biggest money and power grab in human history.
For those on the political right, wittingly or not, there has ironically been a degree of cover given to these same people under the guise of ‘defending capitalism.’
For example, Fox Business is among the media venues that have run headlines and stories that give Buffett, Gates and their ilk a measure of protection using that rationale. But what is not mentioned often enough is that what those billionaires and their “moat” stratagems do is monopolistic. Monopolies – or its near-cousin oligopolies – are contrary to the principles of a free market. To conflate the free market with a rigged marketplace should be an obvious contradiction. As MHProNews has detailed previously, America was founded not only by those who wanted no taxation without representation, but they also wanted to break free of crown grants of monopoly. The corruption caused by monopolies is increasingly being recognized by voices across the left-right divide.
The U.S. was not established as a purely capitalist nation. Rather, our Republic and rule-of-law were intended to stop monopolistic practices as much was intended to stop rule by a monarch. Oligarchy and monarchy are cousins, they aren’t enemies. In China, the ruling Communist Elite work hand-in-glove with billionaire businessmen in their nation, or those who happen to live in the U.S. or elsewhere. Quotes like those above and below span the left-right divide. Why have they so often gone unheeded, save in time of crisis?
Machiavellian Monopolistic Minds – arguably like Gates and Buffett, as the report linked here outlines – are adept at using a mix of truth, half-truths and deception. Illustrations from fiction – Mark Twain – and facts will serve to make the point.
The brilliant performance by Chaim Topol of the fictional poor milkman Tevye in the acclaimed movie Fiddler on the Roof insightfully sings in “If I Were A Rich Man” aptly notes in the song that most people believe the rich know more. Tevye laments his seemingly poor life. He imagines what it would be like to be rich and be listened to, so he sings a song visualizing people coming to him with their problems.
“Posing problems that would cross a rabbi’s eyes!
And it won’t make one bit of difference if I answer right or wrong.
When you’re rich, they think you really know!”
That “Tevye-Effect” is being played out on CNBC and Fox Business, among others, when they uncritically hang on every utterance of Gates, Buffett or others in the uber-billionaire class. One of media’s heralded roles is supposed to be to hold the powerful to account. So, why are so many powerful people given fawning fans treatment?
History, it is said, is written by the victors. Depending on who wins this Bio-Econ-Prop War I is how the tale of modern day Robber Barons will be told. In this modern Gilded Age, an underlying issue is monopolization. That monopolization or oligarchy influence business, media, economics and politics.
A growing number of voices on the left and right have begun to awaken to the threat of monopolization from within. But it must be seen in the light of how those oligarchs are working in a nation like China, where the reach of American law is clearly limited. So, for instance, some of the uber-rich can posture in the U.S. about supporting green and workers rights, while buying labor on the cheap in China where the pollution of the environment goes almost unabated. It is hypocrisy on a massive scale.
That is only possible because sufficient numbers in media avoid asking the truly hard questions, not only from politicians – which is necessary – but also of those behind the faces who call the tunes to which candidates dance.
Let it be clearly understood that Buffett himself said this process is a war, a class war, and that his class is winning. Take that Buffett-quote seriously.
Let’s also underscore that Warren Buffett’s own son Peter Buffett has said that the so-called philanthropy has the effect of locking the status quo in place, while dressing up the image of those who fund foundations and nonprofits. That’s a paraphrase of Peter’s words, but look at the actual quotes above to see their accuracy.
Many of those uber-wealthy talk about the environment while they jet around in their ‘heavy carbon footprint’ private planes. Some invested or still invest in energy sources and technologies that the Green New Deal condemns. Yet the support candidates who push that line. Hypocrisy, anyone? Do they really believe it? Or are some of those research studies funded by China in U.S. paying Americans to push an economy killing messages while Chinese Communists built their industrial, financial, and military might to the point that it now has?
Are those who’ve invest in China savvy traders or witting or ignorant traitors?
Both left and right have things to account for, as GOP lawmakers for years pushed for trade policies that ignored the human rights abuses of China. On both sides of the political aisle, deals were made that shipped American jobs to China that fostered this nightmare we awaken in dubbed the Coronavirus Pandemic.
In fairness to both major parties and some independents, there have also been voices that have been warning against this increased and dangerous dependency we now find ourselves in.
With all due respect to Ann Coulter, who turned hard against the President Donald J. Trump, she clearly doesn’t get it that the Commander in Chief is a wartime leader doing a challenging high-wire act. Of course the president is using some diplomatic language in speaking about President Xi. But he had also labeled COVID19 as the China Virus. He is stuck – following decades of disastrous policies – buying some equipment, protective gear, and medications from the source-nation for this pandemic. That’s a tough balance to strike.
What happens after this pandemic has subsided, that will be the next important measure of how successful the 45th president will be when viewed through the lens of history.
The Party is Over, What’s Next?

Herd Immunity or Thinning the Herd?
In another Masthead, we laid out the notion of so-called “herd immunity” being advanced by some in the medical, business and punditry realms.
But the question must be asked, was this bio-propaganda-economic attack also a thinning of the herd? Gates, Buffett and Bloomberg are among those who attended a meeting in New York City over a decade ago that had as a reported point of discussion reducing the global population.
Job one for those who aren’t in the establishment is clearly getting through this phase of the pandemic with as few lives lost and the least economic and geo-political harm as possible.
In a modest pre-HUD Code mobile home in Bradenton, FL is a widowed octogenarian named Millie Francis. As the nation is glued to news, distractions or other endeavors, Francis prays her rosary and encourages people of whatever belief to pray to God for mercy during this pandemic.
What the COVID19 pandemic ought to cause is a rejection of the status quo ante. There are any number of political, trade, economic and cultural practices that should be rethought. That begins in minds, hearts and homes – spreading out from those fonts of life.
The elites in China and elsewhere willing to embrace death as a tool for domination must be confronted. Without consequences, this Bio-Economic-Propaganda War I will only lead to fiercer or more deceptive efforts at conquest. The future of this Republic, peoples and nations around the world are hanging in the balance, even if that isn’t how headlines are phrasing it. During his campaign for president, John F. Kennedy said during speeches in 1959 and 1960: “In the Chinese language, the word “crisis” is composed of two characters, one representing danger and the other, opportunity.”
