Whatever someone thinks about President Donald J. Trump, his comparison of the Wuhan Virus to 9.11 and Pearl Harbor are worth pondering on this Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is the commemoration of those who lost their lives in defense of freedom.
Millions have never properly learned American History. They have been cheated out of the insights and inspirations than such historic insights brings. Because knowledge of authentic history is often a way of avoiding problems previously encountered.
American students, perhaps for some 4+ decades, have increasingly been robbed of not only historic but the cultural insights that come with it.
Rather than lament or whine about those decades without historic and cultural insights, MHProNews has for years shared articles and videos to be a lighted candle. The video below is thoughtfully done, largely non-political, but cultural and historic in nature.
The CU Monitor posted the video below. It is an 1:06 minute docudrama that won numerous awards. You’ll see why if you watch it end to end.
Turn down the PC (political correct) voices that play upstairs, because those who push that have an agenda. Your freedom or prosperity isn’t their impulse. How can you know? That’s the connection. Only sound thinking and good information could have avoided this.
Knowledge is potential power. Learn your heritage. Understand why so many were and still are willing to sacrifice and die to fight for the ideals that shaped our epic journey through time in America.

Now that we as a people are where we are, we must learn the root causes, which are found in the related reports below. Then, we must hold our leaders to account for dealing with this appropriately. Returning to the status quo, doing more trade with China once this current crisis has passed would be to beg for a repeat of this pandemic and its deadly impact.
Let’s learn the lessons from the tragic and costly losses. Let’s also question those who defend China and the WHO, when this is the obvious time for Americans to come together in the wake of this biological pandemic.
How this plays out in our industry are also found below the byline and notices too.
Just as we should never forget other parts of our history, or 9.11, nor should we forget what life is like on this Memorial Day, 2020. Nor should we forget those responsible. Because the price of failing to learn the lessons of history is the risk of having it repeated.
