MHProNews has learned that the latest totals for manufactured home community professionals as well as builder/developers registered for the 2013 Tunica Show has more than doubled over last year at this time. Manufactured Home Retailer registrations are up some 22.5% over the same time in 2012.
In a statement, show coordinator Dennis Hill said: “This represents an increase of 186 additional attendees when you compare last year with this year at the same time. Things continue to look good for the Tunica Show.” This is similar to the trend that took place for the Louisville Show earlier this year, when attendance rose some 30% over the previous year. “With shipment levels up for January 2013 over last year, and housing starts and manufactured home shipments expected to rise by some 15% over 2012, there are bottom line reasons for professionals to attend Tunica, where you can easily compare products and services side by side.” said MHProNews publisher and show promoter L. A. “Tony” Kovach. MH Community Series Homes along with dozens of other retailer and builder/developer models will be showcased.
At the current registrations pace, a total of 2200+ industry professionals could attend, making it the largest and best attended industry event of the year. The Tunica Show opens at 9 AM March 27 and runs until noon on March 29th. For more details, see the story by Show Chairman Keith Bennett linked here.
