The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports U.S. House of Representative member Barney Frank (D-Mass) has decided to not seek re-election after serving 32 years in Congress. MHARR’s communique says, “Our industry is losing a loyal congressional ally who worked across the aisle to champion the Federal Manufactured Housing Law and the manufactured housing industry as one of the main sources of affordable home ownership for millions of lower and moderate-income American families. The members and staff of MHARR wish to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to Cong. Frank and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. ”
