LakesMail from Australia tells MHProNews a proposal to site 251 manufactured homes in Halekulani in New South Wales, southeastern Australia, will be determined by Wyong Shire councillors. The Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council, which owns the two sites proposed for the development on Lake Munmorah north of Sydney, says the project will offer affordable housing as well as tourist accommodations. The northern portion will include 67 home sites, 12 of which will be caravan short-term sites; the southern part will be 184 long-term home sites. The development is bordered on the north and south by manufactured home communities. The exhibition period has been extend to Aug. 27, 2012, for nearby residents to express their concerns.
