The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports statistics compiled by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for June 2012 indicate HUD Code homes production rose one percent over June 2011 to 5,075 homes, marking eleven consecutive months of increased production. Production of manufactured homes for 2012 for the first six months now total 27,715, a 19.7% increase over the 23,152 homes for the same period of 2011. MHProNews has learned the top five shipments states, in order, are Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and North Carolina.
