The Eloy City Council in Arizona, just south of Phoenix, has eased the zoning restrictions on replacing manufactured homes. The previous ordinance required homes be replaced with units no more than three years old, which many people who lived in homes that needed to be replaced could not afford. The new ordinance allows homeowners to replace their homes with models ten or more years newer. TriValleyCentral tells MHProNews.com for new installations, Mayor Byron Jackson says the manufactured home needs to be no more than ten years old.
