nctimes reports from Escondido in southern California incumbent Olga Diaz and challenger Don Greene have received endorsements for city council from the Coalition of Escondido Mobile/Manufactured Home Voters, which represents the city’s 7,000 MHC residents. Greene lives in a manufactured home and has been a strong advocate for issues that affect MHC residents. In a press release the organization said, “CEMV believes that both Olga and Don will work with the residents of the mobile/manufactured home parks and will allow fair and balanced discussion of issues that affect them and all the residents of Escondido.” MHProNews has learned eight candidates are vying for two city council seats.
