The battlecreekenquirer reports a group of residents from the Triangle Mobile Home Park in Emmett Township, Mich., which has not had a valid license since new owners assumed control in 2010, took their complaints about the community’s conditions to a meeting of the Michigan Manufactured Housing Commission. However, because complaints had already been filed last August by Legal Services of South Central Mich., comments made during the meeting could not be accepted lest they interfere with the ongoing review. The original complaints allege illegal water billing, shoddy sewer line repairs, and retaliation against residents who have brought concerns to management. MHProNews has learned the Mich. Bureau of Construction Codes, which handles MHC inspections, is reviewing a second license application.
