The Office of the Federal Register informs MHProNews that the Manufactured Housing Consensus Committee (MHCC) meeting will be held Jan. 19 thru Jan. 21 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY, 9:00 AM to 5 PM each day, somewhat overlapping the Louisville Manufactured Housing Show.
The agenda for the first day includes reports from subcommittees regarding National Fuel Gas Code, Safety of Household Appliances, and Requirements for Motor-Compressors. Reference Standards Review will deal with indoor air quality, water vapor tests and national electrical code. Another Reference Standards Review will address fasteners, and design and construction of an all-plywood beam.
The Regulatory Enforcement Subcommittee will take on shower and tub valve adjustment, as well as SAA Funding Option Proposals. For the full agenda, click here.
The MHCC is an advisory committee, and can only make recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). ##
