In the news from CNNMoney: Trading interrupted on NYSE because of electronic glitch. Dow drops precipitously due primarily to the Chinese stock market plunge and continuing concerns about Greece, sending the Dow down nearly 1.5 percent. Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) dropped -3.61 percent to end the day at 683.7. Manufactured housing stocks we cover all closed down or even. Liberty Homes spiraled downward, losing -33.33 percent.
On the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted-261.49 points, -1.47 percent to end the day at 17,515.42. The five day change has seen the Dow drop -1.37 percent.
The NASDAQ dropped -87.70 points, -1.75 percent to close at 4,909.76.
The S&P 500 moved down -34.65 points, -1.66 percent, to finish at 2,046.69.
