Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) actually rose in the face of the major indices falling, +0.23 percent to end at 923.9. All manufactured housing related stocks we cover closed down—some a little more volatile than usual–or even, except Cavco Industries which inched up +0.67 percent to close at $73.17. Deer Valley fell the most of tracked stocks, -7.69 percent, to end the week at $0.60.
On the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged -3.12 percent, -530.94 points, at 16,459.73.
The NASDAQ dropped the most of the three major indices -3.52 percent, -171.45 points to close at 4,706.04.
The S&P 500 fell -3.19 percent, -64.84 points, to finish at 1,970.89.
