At its annual conference, the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association (MMHA) bestowed honors on several members for their achievements in best promoting the factory-built industry to their clients, as marketwired informs MHProNews.
- For best community entrance, Sun Communities’ Camelot Villa in Macomb, MI recently upgraded their roads and playground.
- In the category of best community event, Kines Resorts in Three Rivers, MI celebrated their 50th anniversary with a ribbon cutting at the new entrance, unveiling of a new sculpture and a sunset cruise for all former and current residents.
- Shelby West in Shelby Township, a Moceri Companies community, received two awards: one for best model home staging, and one for best website. The website includes MH buying tips, homes for sale, a community application site and links to home loan applications.
- The award for the best member sales event went to Franklin Homes of Belleville, MI for their Monroe County Fair exhibit. They installed an outfitted and landscaped Clayton home which 5,000 people walked through.
- Another Moceri Companies community in Shelby Township, Shelby Forest won best advertisement honors for their “Affordable Homes and Community Lifestyles” publication. Now in its fifth year, its format is based on real-estate style promotional materials, published three time a year and distributed to 27 locations in the marketing area. ##
