The 1984 video game Tetris has seemingly inspired a Beijing modular, micro-house made of a series of easy-to-assemble, stackable units, as mothernaturenetwork informs MHProNews. Furniture surfaces and envelopes for storage are part of the fiber-reinforced blocks when assembled into a unit, which includes bedroom, bathroom and office modules, interlock-able and all of which fit into a shipping container. More cross-shaped modular rooms can be added. The minimal dwelling is aimed at making private housing available for the general population.A prototype is on display in a Beijing park.
