Affordable Housing International (AHI) of Hong Kong is offering modular units shipped from China in one to four-bedroom models that can be stacked for a four-story apartment building, made into single-family homes, duplexes and row houses as well.. The STELETE houses offer foam insulated concrete cores that provide 20 times better insulation than regular concrete blocks and ten times faster construction than on site building. PRWeb.com informs MHProNews four unskilled men can complete assembly of one house per week, and the factory can ship 1,000 units per month. Touting the product as ideal affordable housing for emerging markets, AHI says the structures start at $15,000 each. The company has ongoing projects in South America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
