santamariatimes says the Santa Maria, California Parks and Recreation Department wants to add a 40 X 20 foot modular building to the Newlove Neighborhood Center for office space, classes, and for policemen who work that side of town. The Santa Maria Planning Commission is meeting tonight (Sept. 5) to consider the proposal for the site that is currently zoned for public facilities. MHProNews has learned the center is surrounded on three sides by the La Maria Mobile Home Park and high density apartments.
