The Cape Henlopen School District on Delaware’s eastern coast has asked for a property tax increase to build a 720-student elementary school and add six classrooms to existing schools, according to delawareonline.com. The increase would amount to $0.27 on $100 assessed valuation. If the referendum fails, MHProNews.com has learned the school district will continue using existing modular classrooms, and will have to purchase more modular classrooms to keep up with student growth.##
