The Pikes Peak Prep charter school will have almost twice the space for the coming school session as they did for last year due to a gift of eight modular classroom buildings from The Classical Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as The Gazette tells MHProNews. Pikes Peak will have 360 students this year as opposed to 290 last year, and the addition will allow for the K-12 school to nearly double its enrollment. With space for two classrooms in each building, the modular units will house upper level English and social studies classes, music classes, expanded exercise facilities, and a workshop for engineering and 3D art programs. The courtyards between the buildings will be utilized for outdoor meeting space.
