A revised application for the siting of modular living units in Ridgefield, Connecticut may lead to a legal settlement after 1 1/2 years. Ridgefield Modular Home Corp. originally submitted plans for 11 apartments in a four-cluster modular building under the state’s affordable housing law in Sept. of 2012. Ridgefield is now seeking only three units, one of which is affordable, as theridgefieldpess.com informs MHProNews.com. Under the state’s affordable zoning law, developers can sidestep zoning regulations if 30 percent of the units are considered affordable by the state. ##
