Although he had city approval, when neighbors opposed Martin Newton’s plan to build a ten-unit, 42 foot tall condominium on his half acre in an older neighborhood near downtown Colorado Springs, Colo., according to JetsonGreen, he chose a modular complex. Working with Liscott Custom Homes’ Rick Hagan of Castle Rock, they custom designed the two duplexes and two single units to blend with the Victorian houses, many of which are over 100 years-old. MHProNews has learned the modular homes will be available for rent in May.
