MetroWestDailyNews informs MHProNews the Sudbury (Mass.) Housing Authority will celebrate the culmination of a project that began 21 years ago, as the last of five modular duplexes will be dedicated Tue., Nov. 1. Designed by KBS Building Systems of Maine, the units will provide affordable housing to ten families who have yet to be chosen. Funded primarily by the state at a cost of $2.9 million, the homes will be rented at 30 percent of the occupant’s income. The project will help Sudbury meet state requirements of having at least ten percent of the city housing stock as affordable housing.
