WishawPress reports from northern Scotland in Great Britain, the Motherwell police station has officially opened 12 modular cells to help with the management of prisoners. Strathclyde Chief Constable Stephen House, newly-appointed head of the Police Service of Scotland, says “Modular cell buildings are a new approach to prisoner and staff facilities and are an important investment.” As MHProNews has learned, these modular units will ease multiple-cell occupancy and can be moved to a different location if necessary.
