KETV 7 in Omaha, Nebraska, reports that the Omaha Home & Garden Expo held in the Qwest Center has been turned into a production site for a modular home that will be displayed during the show, which begins March 3. Don Hansen, of Nu-Trend Homes, which has built a home for the show for many years, says the home will be assembled in just three days. The show will draw an estimated 20,000 people, and Hansen hopes one of them will buy it. He says, “Our number one market are the 50-plus folks that are retiring that don’t have a lot of retirement [funds].” Regardless of whether it sells or not, the home has to be disassembled and removed at show’s end.
