The National Modular Housing Council (NMHC) informs MHProNews.com 3,406 new modular homes were shipped in the fourth quarter of 2013, an increase of 6.4 percent from the same quarter 2012. Compared to Q4 last year, statistics reveal 19 states saw increases in shipments, while 15 witnessed decreases. For purposes of comparison, manufactured home shipments averaged 5,000 units per month in 2013.
