From Boston/SF comes word that people traveling to work on busy Route 1 in Saugus, Massachusetts, just north of Boston, may have been surprised returning home to see a house on what was a vacant lot that morning. Westchester Modular Homes of Greater Boston (WMHGB) installed a new 2,900 square foot Colonial-style modular home to use as showroom and office center. Built by Westchester Modular Homes of Wingdale, New York, it will take eight weeks to complete the interior work. Scott Jones, CEO of WMHGB and 30-year veteran of building modular homes, says: “This is a very different experience than looking through a catalog. People will be able to walk through an actual modular home and see the superior construction, and make an informed choice.”
