Ordering homes for a Canadian region in desperate need of housing is one thing. Getting them to the remote location is another. The first modular homes destined for the Canadian region of Attawapiskat are now about half way there. That’s according to a report from CBCNews. MHProNews.com has learned four out of 22 homes homes arrived in Cochrane in northern Ontario Thursday afternoon. They made the trip from New Brunswick. According to the report, high winds and freezing rain have made the transportation of the homes difficult. From Cochrane, the modular homes will be sent by train to Moosonee, and then by ice road to Attawapiskat.
