The British magazine House Beautiful is launching its own line of modular homes aimed at the over three million adult children living with their parents because they cannot afford to rent or buy. Starting at £110,000, about $70,400 at today’s exchange rate, the homes are available in six designs, can be delivered on a truck and assembled within 24 hours.
Buyers can choose the interior layout, kitchen, bathroom, flooring and external finish to suit their own needs, as dailyrecord.uk tells MHProNews. The homes will be on display at this year’s Ideal Homes Show where the Scottish launch of the modular homes will take place May 22-25 at the SECC in Glasgow.
Lee Newton, CEO of Media 10, the show’s organizers, said, “At Ideal Home Show we pride ourselves in bringing you the most up-to-date, creative and innovative ideas for the home. These homes styled by House Beautiful fit that mold and we’re delighted to be able to bring one of these homes to Scotland for this year’s show.” ##
