As MHProNews posted Aug. 12, 2015, a manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic is supplying Germany with modular housing to provide quarters for the thousands of refugees fleeing war and poverty in their native lands of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Germany is building seven modular centers to house 20,000 people. As the orders are flooding in from German cities, the Czech Republic itself has little need for the modules as it has provided refuge for a small number of Syrian Christians, according to dw.
Marketing Director Jan Petr of Paris-based Touax Group in Supikovice, Czech Republic, expects 60 percent of their modular units this year will go to Germany, up from 30 percent last year. ##
